Desperation

I wandered into the local CofE which is open to the public. Not sure what I believe, but as I've stated before, old churches are places of retreat and calm and contemplation, whatever one's state of faith is.

I was very moved when I saw this sad desperate plea on the Prayer Request board. What sadness and despair must lie behind these simple pleading words. I wonder if anyone hears them.
