Got up fairly early for John to service the boiler. Once h d gone I sorted out the car snd set off for mk, calling in at the big charity shop to drop off Js old chairs and then into the plant nursery that I visited on Saturday to buy more perennials. Such a change in the weather - it was too hot to be out for long on Saturday and today pouring with rain! Arrived at LMs for lunch and a chat. She had a meeting at 2 but after that we went over to Frosts- poured with rain again though so just had a quick browse inside and then tea in the cafe. Went back to hers and chatted a bit more before i went over to FCs for ‘ book group’. No chat at all about books but we had a lovely evening and it was particularly good to see CF again. Very little phone battery left do just one photo of the fruit salad though i do think its a good one! I left at about 9.45 so was looking forward to being home relatively early but j 14 to M1 closed so had to detour via the A5
