Unexpected visitor

I was doing a few things upstairs when G called me to see this downy woodpecker enjoying a few sips from the hummingbird feeder. I managed to get a couple of shots through the window before it flew off. I didn't have time to focus and I wish the shots were better, but I was happy to get any kind of shot. Never seen any other birds at the feeder before! The woodpecker's tongue can be seen in the extra, and that's the photo that I really wish was sharp. G heard it pecking away at the cedar siding on the house too. 
Woke up to rain. What a relief to get some. We went to town, and everyone was smiling in the rain. We could sure use more, but I'm thankful for whatever we get.
