Not an airshow...

We were supposed to be going to Cosford airshow today. After doing 90 miles in an hour and a half, we joined a queue on the A41 near Wolverhampton; the next hour and a half saw us doing just over a mile and the hour after that another half a mile - we still had 8 miles to go and heard on twitter that the car parks were full. We gave up and headed for home. Whilst we had tickets, I am very glad we hadn't paid for them or else I'd be feeling very sore about it...

Our consolation was to head up to Bury Knowle and soak up some sun, with a promise of a beer from the pub on the way back. This wooden sculpture is one of several carved into benches around the story telling tree.
