Burragula Lookout

Apart from the smoke haze over the city it was a good day to walk around North Head - wildflowers in profusion (so many I seriously considered a pic collage app), the new lookouts, the hanging swamp, a sea eagle soaring above the coastal heath and the rocky descent down Blue Fish track to Shelly Beach and Manly.

Burragula means sunset, apparently, and is associated with the long-nosed bandicoots which are active then.

Thanks for hosting JDO - with apologies for relegating the flower to an extra.
