Opening of the Drosera season
Round-leaved sundew (Drosera rotundifolia) is the most fascinating plant to photograph, and a difficult one too. The leaves are very tiny, less than 1 cm. It grows on an island where we spent the night on our boat. I didn't reach the sundew last summer, beacause the water was very high. The island was divided in two parts because of the high water, I had to walk on rocks covered with water now too, but luckily I didn't fall and wet my camera.
Many thanks for comments on yesterday's blip! Our guide was a true expert, and a very talented photographer too. The owl parents don't abandon their chicks after a human has ringed them. The second mother was ringed too
