Last day

After some breakfast we had our traditional walk down to the beach before being picked up to go to the airport. Everything went smoothly with our journey until we landed at Edinburgh airport! We had a 30 minute wait for steps to be brought to the aeroplane then we got to baggage reclaim. It was absolute chaos with people and piles of luggage everywhere. Many flights came in and their luggage arrived but no sign of anything from the Corfu flight. Of course there wasn't a single member of staff around (I mean who would want to be that person) so we had no information but eventually after 90 minutes we got our cases.
Apparently the runway had been closed earlier in the day for an hour and I know there have been worse issues recently but it does seem like it is very unlikely to have an issue free journey now.
