Snubbed...by the cat
After a few days away I expect to be greeted warmly by our cat Leo. Not a bit of it.
I open the front door and see him sitting on the stairs.
He takes one look, meows and turns away with his nose in the air.
Yet I know from Rosie, our cat sitter, he rushes to greet her purring.
He did eventually thaw out and even spent the night on the bed, a rare occurrence.
But, as M points out, that’s because there is torrential rain outside and he can’t go hunting.
This morning he sits glued to the newspaper beside M and refuses to budge.
(So blip “done and dusted” before breakfast for mono Monday “beside”).
