Inspired by a piece of Lego.

During lockdown, the artist Jon Tordoff picked up a piece of Lego and wondered if he could make a scale model of the Lake District using Lego. It became an obsession and the task is still ongoing. It is on display at the Jetty Museum, together with a wonderful collection of paintings of the Lake District dating from the 18th century.
A fascinating exhibition, followed by coffee and a scone by the lake. What a lovely way to spend a Monday morning.
