Yellow duck

Today the family came round on yet another extremely warm (hot) and humid day. Stella-Rose wisely spent much of the afternoon in our paddling pool. with different adults joining her from time and after her play session I finally managed to get her into the yellow duck bath robe that I bought a few months ago.  I had feared that she might have started to out grow it but as you see, it's down to her ankles and good for at least a couple of years!  S-R isn't usually keen on headgear but she loved  the duck head hood and amused us by wearing it, at least for a while.

Poor Violet has had one of her temperatures this weekend and was feeling rather low.  She stayed on a recliner in the shade for most of the afternoon but rallied to pose for some shots - see extras.

We had a BBQ dinner as Mr MC was excited at the thought of giving our new-this-year barbeque a second outing and the adults finished the evening with a couple of silly and very enjoyable games.
