Back in Yorkshire after a lovely little break.
This morning we had an extra cup of coffee after our breakfast.
Put our  mugs side by side and did our ‘totting up’.

At one time we had ‘the Purse’ and both Elaine and l would put £100 in it. Elaine looked after the money and pay out of the purse every time we went out: drinks, meals, cinema tickets etc.no matter what the individual spent.
As we have moved to into a more cashless society we have changed the system. Now l pay for everything on my debit card and at the end of a weekend together l add up what we’ve spent and half it and Elaine does a bank transfer.
Suits us both.
