All of the lovely!!

My birthday!! Tides meant it was a 9am swim, with Emma and Kate. Still with all the flat, mesmeric sea, it was so amazing I went home, got Rosie and took her back in for another swim. She does like it chasing bubbles and the like round in circles.

A few hours of light snack prep and nearly finishing making my trousers. I had about 20 minutes before everyone arrived- I decided not to dash off the hems and to leave them for another day. Then everyone arrived, I have had a good pile of magnificent presents across the board. We drank pink fizz, white flat, ate the snacks I had made and generally had a jolly time. Daisy did an impressively furious speech about the unfairness of Will’s getting to college arrangements, it was very funny. Then we went out to dinner, which was v tasty but v v hot!!

Cracking day all round.
