When I’m cleaning windows:)

Found this beautiful greeny grey moth - never seen one like this before. It’s called Campaea Margaritata or Light Emerald.
I have to confess I don’t clean my bedroom window that regularly, but have been inspired this week. I was worried that it had actually died, trapped inside, as I took its photo very close up, and it didn’t move at all. But it must have just been deeply asleep, as when I gently lifted it, it flew off with a splendid flutter, over to the trees beyond my garden. Good luck little one.
In other news I spent quite a lot of time messaging friends, in particular making plans to meet up with some not-Bristol ones. And I finally succeeded in buying my senior railcard using Tesco club card vouchers, even though the complexity of the transaction would trouble most GCHQ staff:)
