Beside

It's not often that the blip challenge sub theme is a preposition. Perhaps it's never been, but 'beside' can fit many situations. One can be beside a lake, just as one can be beneath the trees.

The couple in the photo are walking together, not one of them charging 20 metres ahead of the other, but beside each other. They might even stay that way, even after they stop holding hands.
