Mango-man

A fascinating morning spent in the Parrys area of Chennai. 'Streets' of shops selling everything. Fruit & Veg lane, Flower lane, Stationery lane, Plastics lane.... A pleasant attack on the senses but I melted in the 44 degree heat just watching them. It begs the question "how does all this stuff get to be here?" Animal and people power - that's how. Amazing to see a trailer-load of boxes of A4 paper being shifted (on heads) to the shop to be sold. That's only after the cow manages to heave it down the lane behind everything else that was trying to manouvere through the narrow lanes, including the odd motorised vehicle.
