Golden Ponds, Longmont, CO

Not a lot of time for using the camera today as we've had lots of town jobs to do. While we were waiting to get the car back from being serviced we went to Sandstone Ranch and Golden Ponds, both good birding areas right in town. Unfortunately the barn owl that was nesting at Sandstone for the last few years isn't there this year, and we didn't see turkeys there either. Lots of cormorants on the ponds, though, as well as pelicans and a few ducks. Not the best time of day, of course.
