Quiet Sunday

A day of doing small things: a bit of pottering in the garden, some catching-up on emails and on photography plans for the autumn. I also had a long Facetime chat with my old friend Barbara in the US in the afternoon: our regular fortnightly session.
I have several orchid plants on my study windowsill, and fortunately they all seem to thrive on a regime of benign neglect.
