Wet dog

Early walk and then jobs. Ironing and a bit of research for ISAs as we haven’t opened one this year one is maturing.
It seemed to cool down around 2pm so thought I would take Hetty for an afternoon walk as we have avoided for a few days. Stood talking to a neighbour for around 20 minutes and then five minutes into the walk thunder and rain. It was actually really nice and Hetty didn’t seem at all bothered by the thunder.
We were both wet when we got home and I assumed she had gone straight through the house and out into the garden, but but then found her in the garden room on a wet patch on the chair.
Made a bulgur wheat pilaf for dinner, very tasty.
