We are family

Today we had lunch with my cousin Edward and his girlfriend at a funky Italian restaurant in Central London. They live in Singapore so I have actually only seen Ed in person once in the last decade! 
I feel sad that Dad was not with us.
It was lovely to catch up with them and meet Samantha. They are so sweet and a great match. 
The restaurant's decor is so funky I will definitely return. 
I did have a bit of a reaction to the black pepper in my dish though so felt very drowsy and a bit achy. But an early night and lots of water helped
