The Codfather. Ambleside’s new fish and chip shop. There must be a caption for the photo but I can’t think of one. I prefer this with the guy on the left glancing along the road and holding a bunch of keys over the later shot I was going to post (now an extra).



With thundery showers forecast for the afternoon I really wanted to cut the front lawn in the morning. Just two problems ….. it’s Sunday and it was silent. I didn’t want to disturb the peace so it will have to stay long for a bit longer.

Around midday I headed out. I hadn’t passed the shops when I felt the first spots of rain so decided against carrying on to Waterhead. About 5 minutes later the thunder, lightning and heavy rain started. Pleased I packed my waterproof.
