Sunflower

Dave went off to the island early-ish - I went up to the allotment with the feeling that it was going to rain. (It did, but not till much later). More runner beans to pick, also collected some brambles, coriander seed, and the first sweet pea seeds.

Was pleased to see that my sunflower is finally opening - however, it's only about 5 cm across, whereas the neighbour's massive blooms that you can just see beyond the hedge must be about 25 cm across! Still, all welcome.
