Morocco

This is a photograph of a photograph I took in 1999 in Morocco.

This was our first trip to Morocco and this scene is just outside the small town of Ouirgane, itself extremely close to the epicentre of the recent devastating earthquake.

We had hired a guide to take us to sites in the area, in the High Altlas mountains.

We subsequently holidayed in Agadir, Morocco on eight further occasions. Agadir is no stranger to earthquakes, having been totally destroyed in 1960.

This Blip is dedicated to the people of the Kingdom of Morocco.
