What A Scorcher!

Yeovil’s players seem to be forming a queue to congratulate goal scorer Josh Owers (in the embrace of no.2, Morgan Williams who got there first!) after he scored what proved to be the winning goal in a 3-2 victory at Huish Park this afternoon.

His shot was a real scorcher, just like the weather. Quite how the players managed to play for 90 minutes plus 14 minutes of additional time in temperatures in the 30s I don’t know; we were melting just standing in the covered terrace.

Another exciting game with the lead changing hands 3 times and another 3 points for us, maintaining our unbeaten home record.

Earlier, we braved the Park Run. Fortunately, a bit of early mist kept the temperature down although it had got pretty hot by the last mile.
