Magical…?

I rowed out in our rowboat to take a blip of our cabin at Point Roberts from a water perspective, but it is not particularly photogenic. Later, we were having a final happy hour with our neighbor; indoors because it was very cool outside.

Looking out I realized that we have a pretty good view no matter where we sit. Sitting inside, we have great picture windows. On the other side of the windows we have a covered patio for shelter from rain and for shade. The vast majority of time we sit on The Prow, the patio at the far front looking over the beach.

Nobody visits to look at our cabin which is 60 years old, rustic, and unrenovated. Everyone is drawn to the view, and they never look back.

One guest always says, ‘This is magical!’ She could be right.

The magic ends today, as we move back into town. Fortunately, we live close enough to here to be able to go back and forth.
