Hiding

My stint in the craft shop in the morning and who should come in but this blipper and her man! So glad I was able to recognise her from one of his previous blips and it was really nice to chat to them. A really lovely couple - and very talented!

Driving home I spotted a field full of lapwings and their babies. Everywhere you looked they were hiding in the grass. Unfortunately the cattle have just been moved off the field, ready for it to be sprayed with slurry. Only hope the wee ones get a chance to learn to fly first. Time is of the essence for farmers and this is somewhat of an ongoing problem. Cross your fingers . . .
