Plunge

My morning view. What a creation!
All you can hear is the trickle of water from the hills, coming down into a water feature in the sweeping dry stone wall surrounding one side of the patio like a big hug! You can also hear the birds and the woosh of water in the stream opposite as it comes down into plunge pools. 
Coffee, cake and food shopping in Kendal before a fabulous dip into aforementioned pools. Also a little paddle and float in the stream at the bottom. It's an idyllic spot. We sat and Liz read while I painted, and the kittens - Pie & Mash played.
It's a busy household, so an afternoon of peace was most welcome.
