Michaelmas Daisy Time

The Michaelmas daises "stolen" from my late Mum's garden many many years ago are flowering again, as they do most Septembers to remind me of my C0fE primary school with it's purple and yellow uniform worn with pride as we marched crocodile fashion to the parish church of our namesake, St Michael, every Autumn to celebrate the Michaelmas and Harvest festival.  This year they seem to be "on the move" and have spread out somewhat; I normally leave the garden to its own devices, but may have to dig some up in Spring!

From another hot day spent in the garden.
