Pinching myself
There are days when I’m driving around doing errands, rushing here and there, that I just have to stop and pull over and take a picture, it’s a seconds shot into this beautiful place that I live, but it’s a breathless one, I sit and I just take time to take it all in and remember that I live here, I’m not on holiday, I don’t have to go back to the traffic, the fumes, the dirty and dirty air, and the endless amounts of people not to mention crime, it’s my safe bubble, where I feel safe walking around in the dark, leaving my keys in the car and our front door open, where the air is so pure you can taste it, and life has a somewhat slower pace (even when your in a rush) so sometimes you just have to look back at where you’ve come from and the progress you’ve made, to grasp the energy to keep going. It’s not the distance you’ve travelled either physically or mentally, it the difference between then and now thats important x
