Im and I went to Canterbury to check out some decorating options and supplies, then her family appeared in the afternoon to see the house for the first time! They helpfully brought Imogen's supplies from home, some gifts, and (welcome) decorating wisdom.
We all then had a jolly early evening in town, before separately adding to the volume of inching traffic that tried to find ways west along the few patches of road that hadn't been closed for maintenance, the usual port-related traffic-management hashes, and/or the aftermath of the entirely level-headed response to an individual escapee.
