A return to Taos three days later.  Don't ask why.
I'll spare you the details; suffice it to say:
The universe gives and the universe takes away...(but then it gives again)

Decades ago on this same date I lost someone very cherished, very dear.
That loss echoes through the years. I'll spare you the details.
The devil dwells in those details...the universe taking away.

Today, the whole give and take thing 
became a roller coaster of blessings and curses.
These photos show one of the high points of the ride, 
and there were several.

Yet another low point was to follow this sunset gift; 
I'll spare you the details; It was an accident, they said
