Cow earrings

A dull damp day has seen me inside most of the day, this morning completely cleaning out the fridge, and this afternoon doing farm bookwork and GST.

Tomorrow is hopefully going to be fine, so Farmerboy and I will be spending most of the day drenching and ear tagging our rising 2 year old cows. The cows will be given a 'herd' number, so being the organised person I am, I got out all the pre-printed ear tags that we will be using. Here are just a few of them. The number is on a front tag and on a back tag, so we can see who the cow is when looking either head on, or from behind. They already have a birth id tag in their ears. This tag was given to them when they were born.
