Mine's bigger than yours

Mr K has worked for the same company for 25 years and to reward him they gave us tickets to the variety theatre, GOP, here in Essen, and provided the transport.

Never before has the trip into Essen been so much fun, not only were there lots of buttons to play with inside the car, a bottle of sekt was provided too (not the easiest thing to pour without spilling when going over speed bumps!) and then there was the people watching too.

We've been to GOP before and this show lived up to our expectations and some! There was roller skating, there was shadow play (to Old Macdonald had a farm*), there was a crazy double jointed woman (who I almost couldn't watch) there was a trampoline, there were bikes, there was even a bike on the trampoline - somersaulting, yes, really.

All in all a great evening, possibly overindulged on the prosecco though, oops!



* except they kept saying "Old Macdonalds".
