Bergerac airport

An early start to return the hire car and check in . The airport is a small affair and much easier to navigate than Manchester! This was the airport fire engine sat on the runway as we were about to board. A quick and easy journey with a stunning view of the French coast , Ile de Re and other islands and the Gironde estuary and a very clear view of Mont Saint Michel as we flew over the channel.

We have had a fabulous week, but now back to reality.
