I’m betting this is the Cima delle anime/ Hinterer Seelenkogel at 3470m on the Italian Austrian border. The re was v little snow anywhere but these hanging glaciers were impressive. A couple of extras of the Heitervanger See and looking east over the Italian Austrian alps.

It was 31c when we landed at 11.30 in Firenze. Very dry and fire ban extended to end of September due to forest fire risk. The house was all in good order after J and K and C’s visit. I rrigation water now v scarce and the spring reduce to a tiny trickle.
