Evaporated!

This is me sitting in the garden - just after I'd melted, trickled away and evaporated. It was 31°c in the shade, and 33°c in full sun (that's in the early 90°s Fahrenheit). Phew, what a scorcher! (Today I missed the sea.)

The juice in the glass is apple and blackberry, cooled in the fridge after stewing fruit from the garden. Am really enjoying my current read - Shrines of Gaiety by Kate Atkinson. The chapters are really short and it's quite a page-turner in any case, which is good for me as I never developed reading stamina. 

Still very hot. We sat out after dinner, too, and now it's warmer indoors than out. Another night of sleeping with the duvet folded back, methinks.
