Sand castles

This morning Addi decided she wanted to build sand castles. Now, a year ago when we got married she wouldn't go anywhere near the sand. Of course we had a destination wedding in Mexico, and our wedding was on the beach. Go figure. So today we went to Frenchmans Bar, just a local water spot with sand, much like a beach but not as nice. Addi was very apprehensive at first(even though it was her idea, typical kid...2 yr old)and kept saying she didn't like the sand. Luckily she finally came around. What a difference a whole year can make. Kellen of course was happy as can be, and loves to watch his nutty sister do her thing.

It's crazy how time gets away from us. I was telling Sean it's so hard to believe that a year ago I was pregnant, and we were just getting ready for our wedding in Mexico. I can hardly imagine what another year will look like. Instead of one of us holding Kellen, and the other one playing with Addi, we'll be sitting back watching the two of them play together....sigh....
