Pina colada time!

D#1 contributed this funky bottle of pina colada when she came to stay earlier this week. The contents are delicious and definitely moreish!

I had a lunch date with my elderly friend Alison in The Clachan. Although she had booked a table, she hadn't turned up after 15 minutes, so I tried phoning her in case she'd forgotten, - it wouldn't be the first time! - but couldn't get through on the phone. I ended up going to her door - fortunately very close by - but got no answer to the doorbell. Becoming increasingly worried about her, I was about to knock on her neighbour's door to ask if Alison had been seen recently, when a groggy Alison opened her door and admitted sheepishly that she'd fallen asleep while watching the lunchtime news! :-) Fortunately the staff in the pub know us and, although very busy, had kept our table and saw the funny side.
