Memorial Day

the whole family got together for a cookout/ graduation party at sister C's house. We were celebrating 2 graduations- (see 5-25 blip), and C's younger daughter had just finished grad school and is beginning 2 years internship, leaving for Chicago soon. We were also celebrating my older daughter M's 30th birthday and younger daughter J's engagement (as of the night before we left on our trip). Neice H had participated in the local memorial Day parade in the morning. It was wonderful to have everyone together (except sister D and son+ daughter who live in Lake Tahoe. D had just flown to Ct to visit over Easter).
The weather was beautiful! if we could only have one perfect day on our trip, this would be the day I'd pick for it. The 4th generation kids had a ball running around and doing many activities C had planned, and the food and company were great!
