Wednesday

Return to work day.  There was 2 inset days on Monday and Tuesday which I was supposed to attend but it’s a bit of a bone of contention.  I work Wed-Fri and as this is a Backblip I can say that I chatted with S , our HR lady, and she totally agrees with me.  All the insets are at the beginning of the week, except one, and I’m supposed to attend 4 out of the 6 insets .  Three of them on my non working days.  My grievance is that I work those other days  looking after O and I’m not just at home having days off but also someone who does my job but a mon-Wed gets to do their insets in their working day but also gets 2 Mondays off for the 2 insets they don’t need to attend.  How is that fair?  Anyway, she said leave it with her to see what she can do….. oh , and no I wouldn’t get paid extra for going in on my days off as, apparently, it’s already included in my pay?!

Anyway, back to the day.  I’ve moved down a year group and seemed to be outside all day.  First day back and hoping it’s not like this all the time.  At lunchtime our friends sent a photo.  As the weather is glorious they took themselves off to the beach and sent us a pic.  This is what I sent them ;-(
