My least favorite place...the supermarket! I usually use Peapod Delivery but I ran out of everything and had no choice if I wanted to eat tonight.
Too big, too many choices and takes too long. I wish I had a little grocery shop in town where I could just run in and grab a few items and get out quickly. It's not likely to happen with the rate they are putting up super Walmarts and Costco stores. Apparently the bigger the better.
I guess I was born in the wrong century. I would prefer a local bread shop, a local butcher and a local produce store. People that you know and who actually know and remember you. Ah well, I got my groceries and survived but I didn't like it one bit.
The rain has cleared today and the sun is out. The flooding is subsiding and tomorrow promises to be a nice day! I even optimistically got food for the grill.
I was thinking about the TV show Star Trek today while at the market. Remember how they just used to press buttons on the star ship and get whatever kind of food they wanted? Someone should get working on that idea!!
