Floating chair

This woman just sat letting the tide come in. She was with a man who gradually moved every few minutes to stay above the water line.

Others came and went, including us, to swim, snorkel and observe.

The cafe was doing one of their evening dinners so we spontaneously went out. We’d planned to have frozen pizza with chanterelles.

I don’t know how well mushrooms will be coping with this second summer heat. Today we’ll go foraging and find out.

Before this scene, yesterday was mostly a gardening day. I did the changeover before making lunch, then got to work.

As I mowed, I thought there’s nothing I’d rather be doing.
