2023 Tuesday — Day After

After the holiday, we spent a quiet day here and never left the house.

This was a do-nothing day and a nice slowed-down pace.

Late in the afternoon we stepped onto the empty lot next door to try to dig the "naked-lady" bulbs out of the ground. The dirt is so filled with rocks, it was almost impossible. So after getting maybe eight bulbs, and there are no less than two or three dozen scattered all over that lot, we called it quits.

We enjoyed spaghetti with meat sauce and freshly made garlic bread for dinner. Because I didn’t feel like making a salad, I put the spaghetti noodles on Mr. Fun’s plate on a generous bed of spinach leaves and then topped the noodles with meat sauce. Mr. Fun thought it was delicious.
