Playtime
It's been a very hot day at my daughter's with temperatures around 32C. We were playing with our oldest grandson who decided he wanted to play with his playdoh. We progressed from various cakes and ice creams to animals. Mainly snakes. It was very hot inside as there was no breeze. In the meantime his dad had set up the paddling pool in the garden. Lucas had shown not interest at all in it previously so to entice him out his mum paddled in it with his younger brother in her arms. She came back in saying that Leo has wet feet and would he like to go in. To our surprise he said yes and once he had changed clothes and had sun tan on he was helped into the pool. It's a major achievement for him and he enjoyed playing with his toys in the water. He did slip a couple of times but didn't make a fuss. I think the hot temperatures helped him decide.
We returned home after lunch and had a straight forward journey. We also noticed the temperatures falling as we got closer to the coast. It's been a lovely short break.
