I had been dreading today's appointment, as it was for a 'deep clean' with the gum specialist. I anticipated pain; in the event, the local anaesthetic did its job.
I know I'm lucky to be able to pay for the excavations that may keep my teeth in place for a while longer. Later I went to Boots to buy more interdental brushes in a bigger size, as instructed by the dentist. I noted that all the dental stuff was shelved right next to the sugary snacks. Maybe the staff have a wicked sense of humour...
