Harvest Flowers

There is a talk in Northleach church tonight given by Ross King about his book  "The Bookseller of Florence".

"The Renaissance in Florence conjures images of beautiful frescoes and elegant buildings - the dazzling handiwork of the city's artists and architects.
But equally important were geniuses of another kind: Florence's manuscript hunters, scribes, scholars and booksellers."
'A marvel of storytelling and a masterclass in the history of the book' WALL STREET JOURNAL"

It should be interesting.  The church choir is going to sing "Cantate Dominum" at the end which was written by Pitone, a century or so later but it is at least Italian!

It's Harvest Festival on Sunday so this arrangement in the church porch came in handy for my blip today.  It's so hot that one really doesn't feel like doing anyting much but at least it's nice and cool in the church!

Thanks Anni as always for hosting Flower Fridays.
