Just came apart in my hand chief….

Attacked the rudder in the sun. Drastic measures sawing off the bottom of the skeg but I can see the original holes so can drill them deeper and tap them out to take longer bolts. The rudder is fairly sound in the middle but has deteriorated around the edges and where the stock goes so I will probably remake these parts and then have an epoxy party.
Need to turn a new bottom bush as well but I’ve got some impregnated nylon that will do the job. Plenty to do in the cold and wet weather in the winter.
