Pudding tonight

Will be apple and bramble crumble with locally made ice cream. Prior to that indulgence will be a salmon and veggie traybake with my own tatties and salad. Friends are coming round for a meal and of the two one has an allium intolerance. No onions or  garlic today. 

The apple tree is laden this year. It had a year off in 2022 so we were due a decent crop. I can't keep up with them. Nor can I deadhead quickly enough. Despite the heat it is really autumn now and the summer flowers are becoming exhausted. 

Thick haar again this morning and it was slower to clear today than yesterday. But it's delightfully warm and sunny now. 

Off I go to prepare food! Have a good weekend everyone.
