Eyes right!

I thought that taking a pic looking up these sweeping steps would give an interesting angle. I suppose I should have checked what would be in the pic because I didn’t really expect the cyclist proudly displaying his/her Lycra clad bum with a head growing out of his back. I definitely should have gone to Specsavers!
Yesterday’s consultation with the rheumatologist went well. He’s still hopeful the Rituximab will be effective but meanwhile has given me a prescription for steroids. He also assured me that if the Rituximab fails then there are plenty of options which will not include Methotrexate; things have moved on from that.
He also discussed the osteoarthritis and pointed out that I’d had my knees for a very long time so a bit of wear and tear was expected. That’s his sense of humour but since I’ve been walking since I was 9 months old then they’re a couple of months away from 74 years of continuous use. But I’m not quite ready to retire them yet!
My steroid medication will be ready tomorrow; can’t wait!
