Getting closer...

*but still not close enough!

Went uptown to the Farmer's Market.
Asked the nursery lady to recommend a flower attractive to hummingbirds.
Brought home a pink fuchsia.
Took her word that if I hang it, the hummers will come.
Placed a chair where I could face the hanging fuchsia.
Brought out my camera.
Waited for the neighborhood to quiet down.
Waited.
Waited.
Waited.
Blip!

*Not close enough because dusk came on as I waited, so eventually I had to increase the ISO setting to 800 to let in more light. In retrospect, maybe I shouldn't have done that because the picture is too noisy and not sharp enough for my liking; however, it's the best I have so far. I will keep trying though. The challenge is on!
