My dear Dad.....

This rose is just opening in my garden and will always remind me of my dear Dad who lost his 5 year battle to cancer early on Thursday morning. We were on the last day of our cruise (which my lovely Mum and Dad insisted we go on) when I got a call from my brother to say that Dad had died very peacefully in the early hours. We arrived back yesterday and its tough times. Mum has been amazing and I am so thankful for the closeness of our family at times like this. My Dad was a special man full of fun and he bore his long illness with dignity and humor. I loved him so much! Thanks for your support over previous weeks. I will back blip our holiday.
